According to "Field Artillery Projectiles of the American Civil War" by Thomas Dickey and Peter George, This bolt has a
rarity of 10, the highest rating. An identical one is shown on page 140 in the above mentioned book (1993 edition). It is a 3.25"
solid shot projectile designed for the Confederate 3.3" Rifle (cannon). The sabot is missing which is usually the case. Iron is
very slick and stable. This bolt would fit nicely in the finest of collections.
