A classic example of a rare Confederate carbine. Overall nice looking gun with some replaced parts. The C.S.A.
mark on the barrel is not visible due to pitting around nipple area.The hammer has been replaced with a hammer
from an Enfield musket.The ramrod and swivel assembly are correct reproductions.The rear sight is a correct
reproduction. The lock and barrel are matching serial numbered 149 with a brass nose cap. Priced reflecting the

Barrel marked Col. Sam Colt New-York U.S. America No original blue just a deep dark
age patina. Mismatched serial numbers on cylinder and wedge. Frame , barrel and all
other parts S/N. 265734 indicating mid 1864 production.
