One of the rarer of the South Carolina shoulder belt plates that have the hooks positioned to be used on a cartridge box flap. Very nice non excavated example of a very rare South Carolina Plate. An excavated example can be found in Steve Mullinax's book on Confederate Belt Buckles and plates.
